A selection of 45 photographs (out of 70) taken on my short stopovers in China (Beijing). Please note that the photographs are as originally taken and not enhanced by any means. I hope you will read my blog of my travels and experiences - and these pictures can be used in conjunction with the relevant part (07 and 18 Nov) of the blog at: https://2016november.royschofield.com My thoughts: Whilst I have visited and toured China previously, I always enjoy a stopover to/from Cambodia if I take that route as it breaks the journey - but also being in Beijing is always different! A selection of 35 photographs (out of 59) taken on my short stopover in China (Guangzhou). Please note that the photographs are as originally taken and not enhanced by any means. I hope you will read my blog of my travels and experiences - and these pictures can be used in conjunction with the relevant part (31 May) of the blog at: https://2017may.royschofield.com My thoughts: Whilst I have visited and toured China previously, I always enjoy a stopover to/from Cambodia if I take that route as it breaks the journey - and I have now visited Guangzhou several times. A selection of 15 photographs (out of 32) taken on my short overnight stay in Guangzhou (China) awaiting my flight connection returning from my visit to Cambodia Please note that the photographs are as originally taken and not enhanced by any means. I did not produce a blog whilst in China. My thoughts: This visit was just a short overnight stop - but please see my other visits to China - especially in 2009 - to get a better idea of the many places to visit. A selection 35 photographs (out of 58) taken on my five short visits to Beijing when being used as a hub for my travels to several other countries. Please note that the photographs are as originally taken and not enhanced by any means. I hope you will read my blog of this visit - and these pictures can be used in conjunction with the relevant parts of the blog at: https://2014may.royschofield.com My thoughts: China is a fantastic country to visit - see my '2009 China' album for some great samples of various areas of China. [Please click on the thumbnail images to enlarge. Some maybe little blurred due to rushing the shot - or taking through a travelling bus window etc]

A selection of 50 photographs taken (out of 106) on my short visit to Guangzhou. The pictures show much of the modern architecture of the city - and illuminated buildings at night. Please note that the photographs are as originally taken and not enhanced by any means. I hope you will read my blog of this visit - and these pictures can be used in conjunction with the relevant part (21-22 November) of the blog at: https://2013november.royschofield.com My thoughts: Guangzhou is a very modern city and is indicative of China's growth. Enjoyed my short visit. [Please click on the thumbnail images to enlarge. Some maybe little blurred due to rushing the shot - or taking through a travelling bus window etc]

A selection of 649 photographs and 12 videos (out of 1836) taken on my visit to China. The 12 videos are located at the end of this album and are all of the pandas - but certainly worth watching. The photographs are of various areas of China and show Shanghai, Guilin, cruise up the Yangtze River, Chengdu (especially the Pandas!), Xian (for Terracotta Warriors), Beijing and the Great Wall. I have not labelled the photographs - but they are in that order. I did not produce a blog on this trip. My thoughts: China is an amazing place - so different of course - but so much to see - spread over thousands of miles! Absolutely loved the pandas! [Please click on the thumbnail images to enlarge.
